• Share of mobile visits to the retail industry: Heading into the 2016 holiday season, nearly half (46%) of visits to the Hitwise Retail 500, a collection of the top online retail sites, are from mobile devices.
Popular mobile search terms: Many key search terms, such as "Reviews" "24 Hour" and "Return Policy," rank extremely high on mobile devices.
• Clickstream - mobile traffic before and after: A large share of mobile traffic is being driven to retail sites by search, lifestyle and news sites, whereas entertainment, social networking and email sites play a smaller role in driving retail visits via mobile.
